This is such a gorgeous palette and perfect for the month of love. I've warmed up to pink over the last few years after discovering that the color suits my skin tone, but I'm still iffy about wearing bright pink - so this warm, understated, romantic palette is more my style.

Sex and The City first premiered in HBO in 1998 and became one of its most successful original series. The show was on the air for six seasons until it wrapped on a high note in 2004.

This beloved show was a hit primarily to women, and viewers were taken on a journey with these four friends as they tackle sex, relationship and love issues. This show was also single-handedly responsible for Manolo Blahnik shoes and Cosmopolitan cocktail attain their infamy.

Anyone who knows me well, will tell you that ninety percent of the time I'm sporting flats. It's not that I don't love pumps, I do! But, when you're 5'10 and catching slack in eighth grade for towering over most of the boys, you learn to avoid them. That leaves me with a good two hundred pairs of flats at this point and maybe twenty or thirty pairs of pumps. Since, it's rare that I wear them, I'm fairly selective. I know it's a special occasion and I want nothing less than the hottest pair. It might sound crazy but, when I choose a pair of heels, I'll go to the extreme. Always passing up the one and a half to two inch-ers. If I'm going to get a vertical boost, I might as well go for the full four! No matter what, I'm going to reach the six foot mark. So, my shoes have to scream sexy. I don't want there to be any confusion.
