Style Inspiration - The Vampire Diaries
This popular CW show is based on a popular young adult novel series of the same name and somewhat has the age-old theme of a young small town girl falling in love with an undead (but smoking hot) guy, and complications ensue. But this show has proven itself to be more than just another Twilight knockoff: series creator Kevin Williamson of Dawson's Creek and Scream fame managed to make this show sexy, thrilling and as violent as basic network would allow.
Backed by impossibly good-looking cast Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, The Vampire Diaries ttracted the largest audience of any series since the network began in 2006, proving that this current bloodsucking trend in pop culture is here to stay.
